Inspired by Kuduk's Manifest and Mechanical-Clock themes. Both of those themes use bitmap images, so I wanted to make a similar clock using vectors only. This is what came out of that. I have always liked gears.

Note: because of limitations in cairo-clock, I couldn't think of a way to make the non-symmetrically-placed gears turn. That would be really cool, but for right now only the second hand central gear turns.

By the way, I recommend keeping the seconds hand enabled. It looks okay without it, I guess, but you won't be able to see the central gear turning.
