This is my conky config file. It's very simple, but has some special things:* A hotmail script that reads your hotmail account and shows new mails on inbox and spam folder.
* A Gmail script that logins to your gmail account via IMAP4, shows your new mails on inbox, how many new mails you have on spam folder and how many mails you have in the trash folder. Also you can see the usage of your gmail account.
* An Audacious section, that shows the current playing song, its bitrate, position on playlist and progressbar. You should have compiled conky with audacious support.
* An section that tries to show the external disk usage.

Nice job!!!...but the url to Hotmail monitoring doesnt work... if i visit the url "http://www.palmeteo.com/hotmailrss/authent.php" it show me this message "Due to Hotmail changing mobile web access, this service is supsended !" could you help us to find the solution to this problem??... Hotmail not work.
hello, When i use the hotmail part i get the message : Indexerror : LIst index out of range. I get this on the rule where the username is being read. Roelof
In my .conkyrc I have this line : $ {execpi 300 python ~/.conky/hotmail.py xxxxx@hotmail.com mypassword} But I get the message : usario = sys.arg [1] IndexError : index out of range. How to solve this ? Roelof
The bug I reported isn't a bug, it happened because I opened my Evolution and what evolution does when downloads the emails is to mark them as read in hotmail, despite of being marked as unread in evolution. So bye!
I did it, I changed the script and now it conly shows the number of new emails. If anyone wants I can upload the script. One bug i found that I think it's not from the script is that when it checks again for new emails it shows 0 new emails or the number of new emails after the last check. Bye!
jajaj te mando el mismo comentario de antes, pero me di cuenta que hablas español, asi que barbaro. Lo que quiero es que me muestre nada mas el numero de mails nuevos, que no me muestre ni el asunto ni nada. Se puede configurar eso?
Great script man! I've been looking forward for a hotmail script. I have one doubt, how do I make conky to only show me the number of new emails? Cause I get the sender name and the subject.. I'm inspecting the sscript now. Please answer that for me! And again, great! Bye!
