Description: It's a userstyle that imitates the Ubuntu Unity overlay scrollbars. (Since it's pure css, it is not perfect. Could be extended into a Userscript.)Last changelog:
to get this to work, open http://userstyles.org/styles/80900/fake-ubuntu-unity-overlay-scrollbar, install stylish and install the stylish script. Greasemonkey script did not work for me though.
It's my very own ImmUnity theme. (Which is basically the Precise radiance theme with ambiance panel and a color tweaked elementary metacity theme.)

The firefox on the image also has my ImmUnity Australis userstyle

Just discovered this and it's brilliant. Any thoughts on how it might be modified to work with Gmail or similar? Is that a possibility?
