Description: Glossy Lines is a background for your GNOME Terminal, inspired by the Terminal icon in the FS Icons Ubuntu icon set. It is a transparent background with lines which match your actual lines typed in the terminal to improve readability, and look stylish as it does so.
Note: this theme is not an official part of the LumiNight theme suite, despite being inspired by one of its components.

The provided tarball contains the following variants of the background, which are sized for 80x24 Terminal windows: Purple Blue Green Aqua Black Pink Red Yellow [li/Orange Purple, without gloss or transparency
It also has a folder containing all the XCF source files used to make these backgrounds. These can be modified in GIMP to suit your needs.
=== INSTALLATION AND SETUP ===
Extract the tarball to somewhere you'll be able to find its contents, then open the Terminal and pick Edit > Profile Preferences from the menu.
Under the Background tab, select the "Background image" radio button, then use your desired Glossy Lines *.png file as the Image file. Uncheck "Background image scrolls" if it is selected, and set "Shade transparent or image background" all the way down to the bottom at None.
