Hello...
Thanks for this applet because I'm the manager of a computer store and it help me to make discovering Linux to my customers like gnomenu and Win2-7 Pack Theme does. It is more easy for people used to work with Windows to try a different OS when it looks like his own environment.
But DockbarX has the same problem than Gnomenu had : OAFIID Error at launch.
Could you do something for this bug ?
Many thanks.
David.
I have no problem with dockbarx. I install in synaptic. Just add deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/dockbar-main/ppa/ubuntu karmic main, deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/dockbar-main/ppa/ubuntu karmic main, in terminal sudo apt-key adv --keyserver keyserver.ubuntu.com --recv-keys 38BD81CA that's all. Try update system.
Just install Dockbarx. (How to install dockbarx see - http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/DockbarX?content=101604, https://launchpad.net/~dockbar-main/+archive/ppa) And copy the file (should be SOMETHING.tar.gz) to ~/.dockbarx/themes or /usr/share/dockbarx/themes. You change themes in the appearance tab of preference dialog. You might need to press the reload button before your newly installed theme shows up.
