Description: I made this lilo bootscreen to go with my "KeramikBlue" bootsplash, available here: http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=2490.
I'm glad someone finaly did this! I am sick of looking at that ugly red screen :).
My only complaint is that it is *very* hard to tell what is selected. Other than that, great work!!

Though, I don't find it too bad. (Did you change the bmp-colors line as specified?) I would use a background colour change, but lilo doesn't go back to a transparent background if the background colour changes when an item is highlighted (it just stays the same colour!). And, I didn't want to use a solid background colour because the background in the image isn't a solid colour :). Oh well, the main reason I did this was to prove that you *can* fit a nice-looking gradient into 16 colours!
hi:
your howto is wrong the howto displayed in the link of [howo install] is the splash screen of kde splash screen or "ksplash" and i don't know how to install a lilo boot screen

I made a typo in my lilo.conf file. So in that case, I have no complaints :). Keep up the good work!! JE

That's because it's the "default"' ksplash howto (provided by kde-llok.org) The "README" in the package explains how to install.
