Description:
This splash screen is an exact duplicate of the default kde splash screen except for one twist: the icon bar in the middle fades in as kde loads!

Please let me know what you think!

---

The splash takes advantage of the fact that ksplash does not flush the icon bar when it refreshes, so if you use a semi-transparent image, the consecutive displays will give the appearance of the image "Fading in".

This splash is cool. The fade is totally yummy, although a bit choppy. Good enough though! You'll really wanna dl this. Chroma's my friend. ;)

PovMan

lol this is cool...only problem is when (yes when) kde finally gets some real transparency happening... it won't work :)

cmf

You mean when Xfree gets real transparency?

PovMan

well there's already transparency in the cursors... i would have assumed that if cursors can do realtime transparency, than anything can (?) maybe i'm wrong.

Chromakode

hehe... and let's hope the ksplash developers aren't going to fix the flush problem :)
