My guess was it wasn't at all meant to be offensive, I do believe that. However, I also believe there wasn't much thought put into who would see this. Do you own the copyrights for this photo? If not, you cannot make it GPL. Make something of your own then publish it! And I agree, we should aim somewhere higher than "another nude lady".
