Is it just me, or was the first rendition of this better? The neon green text certainly doesn't look good against a bleak black and blue image.
Not to mention that the icon bar seems to contrast with the overall look.
I have to agree.
text in pictures that are there for informational purposes should not take away from the overall look to the image.
this green text is not only a very large contrast but also draws too much attention to it.
if this were to be fixed I think it would be an exceptional splash screen
as it stands i won't even download it, as I would be tempted to remove that ugly copyright text.

Anyways.. maybe KDE-look should pull this one from being downloaded until the problems (if any at all) can be resolved?
It's a beautiful pict, and maybe the author don't even know its being used? Maybe the author uses differant names for differant services and this \is\ their work? who knows? I don't. You don't... and maybe the guys at kde-look don't either... ?
Oh and one more thing, how is "matrix280682" the same author as "danegron"?
Also, how is "Dark Raven" the same as "Flashandcolors.com"?

you must be either really blind, stupid, or both. you obviously, in your ignorance, failed to see that the theme is made by THE SAME AUTHOR!! you also probably missed the fact that it is an update to a current theme.
you should be able to edit these things... anyway:
mistyped and said 'theme' instead of picture. in the original theme the creator said that the picture wasn't his. if the picture belongs to neither one of them and they got permission from the original artist it's not a problem if they both use it for a theme.

And how do you know they got permission? Maybe I'll steal a wallpaper (any) and then put my name on it. How does that make ya feel if I took the credit for it? Or better yet, if it belongs to neither of them, then they shouldn't even edit it let alone put their name on it. People see and give credit to the name that's on the paper.
