Description: This is a simple KDE splash screen that I made real quick. It uses a background that I got at x.themes a while back and icons that came with KDE 2.2.1. It is the first time I have ever made anything like this and that is why it is so simple. I hope you enjoy!! UPDATE: I have change the inactive bar to have darker icons that they will blink brighter instead of just apearing from nothing. The third screenshots shows what it looks like now.

This looks really cool, thing is I dont know how to install splash screens. Any help on this would be appreciated. Ady
Just untar the file in /usr/share/apps/ksplash Just make sure you backup your old one that is there if you want to change it back. :)
If your distro installs kde in /opt/kde2, it would be /opt/kde2/bin.
Thanks for the comments guys. I have used the background for quite awhile and wanted a ksplash to match.
Loved the original - it's been my WP for ages, so the splash screen was a nice addition to complete the system. Nice work, thanks!
This is really great. The icons seem to be a rip-off, but it fits excellent, and looks beautiful. Thanks for the contribution! It's my ksplash.
I'm impressed! Nice work! :) -dT-
