When installing the Splash it says try using Background.jpg I also have SuSE on a laptop with 1024x768
your works is great! A question... how do you create the message file in "/boot/message" with the pictur of grub background? I tried using "ls . | cpio -o>message" but it generate a too big files... always! even if should fit! help please!
for suse you need to get the package gfxboot this has all the stuff you need to make the grub screens :)
HI, thanks for your feedback - ill put up a generic theme with no branding and also a kde branded one later on today after i finnish work :)
I can't say I've actually installed them, but it looks very good and I will certainly consider it when I decide to change my themes. I like the idea of a consistent theme very much. Keep up the good work!
I just re-read your message, and I like the idea of having it more generic. That's exactly what I look for when searching for a theme. I do use suse, but how about a set with no brandings except a tux logo. I'd like that.
