How do you get it set up so that it looks the way your screen shot looks? All I can do is add the "top" part and can find no way to add the "status bar" to the bottom of it. I know its probably real simple but I'm new and just got ksplash-ml installed. This is one of the best screens I have seen, THANX :)
The normal (ie, without ksplash/ml) way to make it work is to copy the downloaded images into ~/.kde/share/apps/kspash/pics (orsomething like that) and it will work automagically. To get it to work with ksplash/ml, do as above and select "legacy mode" in the kslash/ml config settings. I think this will do it, but I havent tried it.
just a suggestion, but instead of removing your name, you might just make it smaller, or blend it in with the background (or both). personally, i dont see anything wrong with artists signing their work (nobody complains that picasso, or rembrant wrote their names at the bottoms of their paintings...), as long as it doesnt distract from their work (which is top-notch, by the way)
At last! After seeing some of ayo's work in his website I was looking forward to a splash screen. This one is great.
Leave the name there, all art must be signed in my opinion.

yeah I agree. Just a smaller, no need to remove.

pretty groovy, it does look a little jaggy in bits IMHO. Other than that good work keep it up - you the man and other flattery
looks jagged :( Otherwise a very nice splash screen. Maybe remove your name from it.
