setup: System tools->configuration editor->Apps->Panel->Objects Find the object where 'object-type' is equal to 'menu-object' check 'use_custom_icon' set the value of 'custom_icon' to the path of the button. It should change as soon as you set the path. Note: the glass panel is also available.
how do i install the button i followed the instructions and when i went to set the path i could not. if anyone else has this problem please comment on it and get yourself some anwsers
I love this button! The only thing you might want to mention is that, at least for me, I had to open terminal and code
killall gnome-panel
then it worked without a hitch

I have never had to kill the panel, did you change it through the config editor?
