Hello, thank you for the very nice theme. Unfortunately the icons don't work with evolution. If I use the ubuntu sunrise icons, the evolution layout is compromised. The buttons on the left (email, calendar, contacts, ...) get very big and evolution is unusable. Thx for any help!
Please try to use http://www.ubuntu-art.org for Ubuntu exclusive artwork. Generic Gnome contents for all distros belong here. Keep up the good artwork. Regards. PS:// Your account is the same for both sites.
hi, I've tried to update my theme in ubuntu-art.org, but it update it in gnome-look.org too. Is it normal?
Mhhh... It is a gtk-theme = shared among sites. Thanks for trying anyway. Cheers.
Is it me or can't I download it? About 24% of the download it just stops. Is there another place where I can download it? thanks, Tom
Hi, It seems taht's the two link work. Can you try again, please. If you can't dowload it again, I'll add an other link!!
I still cannot download it. none of the links work
Man, what a piece of art we have here. I just wish Gnome had a Theme Manager that could install all different themes together, just like (*argh!*) windows does. Let me ask you something: what is the window theme you used? Is it mista? How could you make it orange? Mine seemes to only be standard blue... Thanks
but I can't install the GTK theme. I followed the instruccions but when I am to choose the .theme file at the preferences, it says it is a non valid file
Hello, there is a better way to install gtk theme. Open system -> preferences -> appearance. Drag and drop the "ZgegBall-sun" directory on the window! that's all
Love my new desktop. The look, the feel, its awesome. Have one bug though and thought you might be able to help. I decided to add the Awn Main Menu icon to the launchpad/dock. When i use the applet and your theme the icon is bigger than it should be, you know relative to the rest of the icons in the dock. When i switch to another theme, say human the icon returns to its normal size. Was hoping you would have a fix for this. Id like to keep using your theme, as it is freaking awesome, and the main menu applet in the dock. Again thank you for all your had work and any help that you can provide.
Hi, First thanks for your comment and thanks for reporting me this bug. It's seems that it came from icons pack. I will modify this pack in the next days. (to be clean in hardy). So I'll include a fix for this bug. I'll advertise you when it's ready... Thanks again for your help
I'm very impressed with this theme. But I can't seem to get my taskbar to be transparent. (I installed gtk2-engines-murrine imported your compiz fusion paramenters and followed the instructions for some of other ones.) The same thing happened when I tried to use the gtk2 theme "SlicknesS" which was suppose to have a transparent taskbar too.
Also, I am using feisty and imported it by using compizconfig settings manager in system>preferences. Then i cliked preferences, import, and imported it.
I've never used a dock for Ubuntu but I would like to, and do not know where to start. I would like to use the dock you're using, and I wonder what it is - I've heard of Cairo dock and once tried to install but failed.
hello, The dock I use is AWN (avant-window-navigator). To install it, look here: http://wiki.awn-project.org/Installation
Hy! You made a very impressive theme collection! But I miss one thing, an usplash theme. So now I starting to work on an usplash theme based on the same wallpaper. And with it, and maybe a simple grub background image, your collection will be very complete :)
Hi, I had your green theme (zgeg vert ) for a long time and now this is my new theme. Thanks for a lot for the good work and keep these coming.
Voted good, keep doing good stuff
This is beautiful!
hello sarry i love this them but the grub will not work in start-up manger is there another format then .sun i can not get it to work i am new to ubuntu 7.10 . so i hope there is an easy way to us your grub file say's message.sun and i not idea how to get it to run thanks .....
Hello, That's for all your comments... To use message.sun, you must have install Grub-gfx (not grub). Grub-gfx is in beta version, so be careful... You can find an HOWTO here: http://tuxenclave.wordpress.com/2008/01/18/how-to-install-gfx-grub-in-ubuntu/ use this grub-gfx package for ubuntu:http://quasarfreak.googlepages.com/grub-gfxboot_0.97-5_i386.deb Good luck!!!
I agree. ubuntu should seriously consider this theme as the "official" look for Hardy. Some themes, though pretty, tend to be too dark for the average person or in a more corporate environment. But this is buttoned down enough to sell to the office types, while still being gorgeous enough for us artist types. I just love it.
You obviously know how to make orange an orange theme look good! Your theme captures Ubuntu's flavor, African roots and optimistic spirit perfectly. I really hope the stubborn and boring developers over at Canonical take some serious notes from your theme! (The default Ubuntu theming really sucks!) Great job!!!!
I could not have expressed this any better, cmost. Well put! Very nice work and very complete.
