I really do. But the "GIMP" letters could be more like in a propaganda poster. Is it the Adobe logo there among the chimneys?
The font in the title and GIMP are the same. Looking back, I would have done it with a sharper font for GIMP. And yes, that is the logo you're thinking of.
besides that, it could be in a smaller size, like for a splash screen.
