Description: I felt that the Dapper Human folder icon was not as clean as the rest of the theme - so I set about making some similar icons that I felt looked more professinal and modern.
The icon in the top left is the original.
Which one do you like best?
I have done _very_ little icon work in the past, so consider these a preview only!
Slick.
Middle left or right? I think the breakup with color on the tab keeps it a little more interesting.
Can Gnome use SVG so we never have to face this resolution thing again?
Nice work.
However, Jimmac is also very strongly promoting the use of _pixmap_ icons for low resolutions rather than just scaling the big icons.
He is right - it really does look a lot better
Middle right - keep it simple, will look better at different sizes.
Though honestly I don't mind the original human ones. More bothered about the colours.
ok, the middle right is also good, because it does not have the "third" colour (the right top has a brown on the white background).
The top right could be more simplified, then it would be the coolest folder icon ever ;)

I prefer the top right icon. It looks stylish and professional.

Jakub Steiner has said that he is trying to convert more of the GNOME icons to svg's on his website. http://jimmac.musichall.cz/icons.php

Hmm, the one in the top right! Looks clearer than the others. :)
