Could you create other distros versions or at least KDE version? The green crystal thing could be white and a K and a half of a gear in it.
You could make the crystal thing transparent and then just change it's color and logos behind it. Behind the transparent crystal and logo, there should be a non transparent crystal thing (with same color) so background won't be visible through the transparent crystal thing.
But I don't need other distros versions, I would use KDE one even if kubuntu one was available, so I just need a KDE version.
But I don't know about other ppl.
I've made now a splash-theme with the kde-logo

I'll see if i can make this also with the Kubuntu-logo.
