Description: 30 April 2008 : I updated the new splash ... see the third screenshot... ----------------------------------- I added a new openoffice splash screen and I updated the old with the new version (2.4)
This is my first try .. I hope you like it ! Please vote and leave a comment!
unfortunately I lost the sources but I managed to correct the number 3 with the number 4 ( from 2.3 to 2.4 ) ... however what do you think of the new splash screen I added to the package?
thanks ... go to :
/usr/lib/openoffice/program/
You will find a bmp image with the name openintro_ubuntu.bmp ... replace it with the new one ! that's all!

Just wanted to say that the second screenshot (for 2.4) shows the best of them all. Never seen a better splash for OOo. Good job.
Can I have this without the version number. Its very nice, but then it can't be used with new version. Thanks and regards

for openSuse go to /usr/lib/ooo-2.0/program and you will have to rename the files to openabout_suse.bmp and openintro_suse.bmp
