I like this one a lot, nice theme. I don't think it looks very much like w****** xp though - this is much nicer IMO. The only thing I would change is that the deep blue on menus is a bit off-putting. Maybe change it to a lighter shade.
To my own astonishment, I do very much like this theme. Maybe I did MS an injustice in discarding the XP style as a mere toy. Still, I find it hard to come to terms with the look of the menues. All this blue is a little bit ... obtrusive? Is that the right english expression? And the fonts loose a little of their legibility. I think I would prefer restricting this rather hefty blue to e.g. a vertical bar to the left where the icons live. The menu proper could be changed to this yellow-brown hue. Maybe a thin blue line around the whole of the menu? Or maybe you could have a look at the menues of the .NET style. I pretty much like those. Anyways, thanks for the great work. Olaf
thx for a good notice.. will change... any other wishes? :)
Great style, thanks a lot. Now if only it would follow system colors. Generally colors are pretty cool, but I find it hard to distinguish between inactive and active windows from the color of the title bar (especially on LCD screens). The difference between the two types should be more obvious IMO. Still, thanks a lot for the great work.
The icons are the best i have seen so far for kde!!! You really should keep working on them!!

Nice tosee that sombbody likes this. my site is in polish but i guess youll find the download section on my homepage. http://gfx.context.pl right now i've suspended makin the icons. but if the feedback is so big i think i'll back to make them again. greets.
your work is very good! keep goin' on...
Your icon design is very nice... I really love it... Good work, i just hope you want to continue to make us happy... Fred
hi for sure man, we want your icons!! They are so smart!!! very good job :)
These are some of the most exciting and original icons I've seen in a while. They really look fresh, new, and modern -- most other attempts to get all 3 of those either turn out to be WinXP or BeOS rip-offs! Keep up the good work!
the windows decoration I found once on themes.org... try there if no luck I will upload it here... ----- the disable button: yup I know.. but there is no such thingy in KDE style like [PushButtonDisabled] (or there is?) it's done automaticaly by KDE... so can't do much about it -------- colors: well. if u don't like my colors, change the style.. feel free.. ------ cool icons, ha? yup.. and u should look at mozilla icon or gimp.. they rock.. all 3-D and done in blender.. the project is called FreeIcons, and is published under GPL.. I think KDE guys should get this guy ASAP because what he does is simply art. I would put here these icons, but will ask the author first.. because I couldn't find link to download to download on his page anymore... the page is here: http://gfx.context.pl/index.php?page=galeria&gal=icons&gal=icons&gal=icons you can at least take a look at the icons - if want to read, learn polish first :)
These are very nice, indeed! I wish KDE had more good themes of icons/stles/windecos/etc included by defult!!!!!!!!!!
I love these icons... Where I can get them?
The theme is really nice, but there's no way to distinguish a disabled button.
I dont like MS as such, but the Windows XP theme is great. Now we only need the icons and a XP user can use a Linux machine not knowing what it is :-)
Yeah, I sent a screenshot of my desktop at work to my superior (who's also very pro-linux), and said "let's just be at work the whole christmas and install linux on everyones desktop and claim it's XP. Nobody would know!" :)
Can't you make the style accept system colors? Because I like more the colors from luna theme (something more like yellow) than yours (more like brown).
where are the window decorations? The ones that are shown in the preview...
i'm not sure but take a look at luna (from win xp) window decoration somewhere at kde-look.org
Yeah, you're right. The window decorations from the Luna theme are classy and guess what? I work on a b&w dinosaur of a monitor too...and this is the only style that looks cool even on that old hag......guess i'll keep it anyways now ;)
I still cant find out where to get or how to use the window decoration. can you tell me how you found them? thanks.
