Description: I really like the Quartz Kwin decoration, but I always wanted the buttons look better... so finally I "hacked" the source file quartz.cpp to let them look as I want.
Just copy the modified quartz.cpp in the kde source tree (I used 3.0.5) at kdebase-3.0.5/kwin/clients/quartz and compile & install it. Its not necessary to rebuild the whole kdebase, its already done with a simple "make clean & make & make install" in the quartz directory.
NEW: Just copy the supplied kwin_quartz.so to $KDEDIR/lib/kde3, precompiled with Kernel 2.4.19 and glibc 2.2.5.
err I cant tell the difference between this and the orig :)
In the mood to hack this theme a bit more? Add some gradients (either hoz or vertical or both) then it would be very spiff :)
well, its not a toooo big difference - it is just a slightly bigger close button and a minimize button closer to the bottom. In this way I feel it looking more organic.
