Description:
The really nice kristall theme inspired on everaldo's screenshots, brought to us by slarti originally, now with -less-of-a-gamble- soft button images by yours truly.

They sharpen when pressed and are only visible on the active window.

A bit like the "color" modification, but without the colors

(The pinkish grey of the color theme is not pinkish on screen. no idea why it went pink)

I've noticed you blurred out your username in the screenshots. I've also noticed the owner of the dir 'kristall' in your .tar.gz package looks quite like the fog on the screenshot. I'm not going to spit it out, but was thinking: you might want to change it? Your window decorations seem to be the only one out of six (the best rated) I really like. Nice job.

I can't download it. It always timeouts on server, everytime I check it, can someone host it somewhere else. Or send it to me, I really love this theme.

I second that, this is a superb take on the Kristall windec, I mean it's just outside the top ten highest rated, and it would be a great shame to lose access to it.

Aaah , sorry about that! I was on vacation end decided to turn off the server due to potential fire hazard... You should be able to fetch em now...

Would it be possible for the maker of this Window Decoration to add in the "pushed-in button look" of the KristalKlear Window Decoration?

anotherfreeloader

You could basically modify the borderwidth in this file: (Depending on where you installed the theme) $HOME/.kde/share/apps/kwin/icewm-themes/kristall/default.theme Borderless however also means "handle-less", so resizing will be quite a challenge... :)

ethem

sorry that's already posted. kristal_sleek is what I wanted.

ethem

very fine! is a borderless version possible? or adding an option like border width? really great work!

See my reply below... I misclicked... :(

caldera

fred

a great windec with a (IMHO) strong usuability problem and someone taking care to fix it ... absolutely great folks, that's what this site should be about! thanks! fred

That's what open source (Linux :) is all about !!

Brandybuck

Gee, I'm using this decoration under FreeBSD. Linux is not the only free and open source operating system. Linux is not the only environment that runs KDE.

foobar3

I also have downloaded it. What do you think about making the title bar roundness shading less . . . less more a soft lighting effect

anotherfreeloader

That would be more work than adding the images.... Maybe the original poster could bring us that.. :) Well maybe when I have some time I'll see what the gimp can do for me

gnemmi

really good. nice addition ! will use it right now :) thank you

Brandybuck

I like it! Subtle but effective.
