And about the thing that KDE is not as good as windows ....?
Hmmm, I think KDE is the best Deskot Environment I know. It's not very eyecandy or very 'united' (for example the icons or how kicker interacvts with other programs,...) , BUT KDE is:
-opensource
-practical
-flexible
And this is a great advantage over other Desktop Environments.
And another thing is that KDE is developed by a large Community on the web and not by people or programmers who program a Desktop Environment for getting their money... (It's the same thing for Linux)
If u are programming for Linux you're working for 'a good purpose'.
Could we have something original..not just some XP rip off. If I wanted XP I would install the no registration required corp. copy I have sitting at work. I don't...and I don't see why so many talented people want to make KDE look like it. I just don't get it.
