Description: THIS IS NOT MINE!!!! Just to clarify. This is the Mac OSX icon set from noonespecial http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=5057 and a few icons from the Tux'n'tosh Icon set also uploaded by noonespecial http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=5106. All I did was just change the defualt folder icons using the gimp, to be the black ones from the tux'n'tosh set, and i changed the gimp one too. I also added the realplayer icon for all sizes and nfs network mount icons too. I would like to thank noonespecial for uploading these great icons, and i hope i did not offend him by changing his Mac Set around. Just to recap, i did no icon work on my own, just used some of the icons from tux'n'tosh and made them in all sizes for the Mac OSX set. These won't be here for long, as i have no computer to host this massive set of icons, so i guess get them while you can.
******EDIT******************* okay, you guys were downloading this too much, and my internet was lagging so much. I'm flattered, really, but i just couldn't keep it on my own comp at home. So the new download is just a tar.gz file, containing only the icons i've changed. Just download it and the origional Mac OSX set from http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?cont=5057 and install it. Then cp or mv my download to /home/username/.kde/share/icons/ , and tar -xzvf my file in there. It will just override and add the icons i've changed. Sorry for the inconveniece, but if someone wants to host the whole set for easier installation, let me know arusnak@eml.cc. Good luck guys and gals.
hate to burst your bubble, and I realize you've clarified by stating that these icons are not yours, but a couple of those are Apple icons.
C'mon, people, I know you like all things OS X (though I noticed a recent sshot I sent in of KDE3.1 on OSX had a snide comment about "Open Source OS X") but Apple kinda frowns on this sort of thing.
Ok, to install, you need to download the Origional MacOSX icon set from noonespecial. A link is in the description. Install that icon set. Download my file from the link, and cp or mv it to /home/username/.kde/share/icons
Then tar -xzvf aqua_hybrid.tar.gz from there. Again, it will just override the default folder and gimp icons and add the other ones that were extra.
Hope that helps
Thanks, this is a very nice mixture to go with my window decor that I see you are using. I will be using these Icons as soon as I get home! Thank you to noonespecial too!
Looks good :) The reason I didn't try something like this is the icon theme I released is just one component of a massive, sweeping, comprehensive Aqua theme I am working on, where I'm trying hard to adhere to the way Apple does it by default. I'm glad to see original ideas too :)
Oh, you may want to start gkrellm with "kstart --skiptaskbar gkrellm" to keep it from cluttering up your taskbar list. No real reason to have it in there...
And is it just me, or is that Tux-n-tosh "gimp" icon quite frightening? :)

unfortunately, neither of the above mentioned links works (http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=5057 nor http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=5106) :-( any chance to re-post them? cheers markus

thanks for the tip on gkrellm, never knew about that. As for the gimp icon, i guess i like it. Although now i see he does have kindof a devious smile.
