ACKNOWLEDGMENTS =============== These Klaptop icons are based on the icons by gertus. They can be found here: http://kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=5967
OVERVIEW ======== Modifications and additions by Ivica Ico Bukvic. slipstreamscapes@hotmail.com http://meowing.ccm.uc.edu/~ico/
These icons are used in the screenshots of my superkaramba theme found here: http://www.kde-look.org/content/show.php?content=13876
The main goal of these icons is to provide more "aliased" and "polished" appearance while avoiding the use of transparent pixels because the KDE systray apparently in its current version does not support transparent icons. In addition, I tried to make the aliased edges compatible with just about any background color.
INSTALL ======= To install, simply right-click on the klaptop daemon in the kicker and select "preferences." There, you can alter the look of the three default icons by making them point to the newly installed icons. The installation location of these icons is pretty much up to you.
CHANGELOG ========= (please understand that many of these are IMHO and they are not meant to be inflamatory)
*Transparent background *Better edge aliasing of images *Shorter cord on the charging icon *More subtle appearance of the missing battery icon
Your votes, comments, and suggestions are most welcome and appreciated. Thanks!
Odd. Not entirely sure why that happens. The only thing that comes into my mind is that you might have downloaded the image from the screenshot rather than the tarball or you may have a custom-compiled KDE desktop, in which case anything goes. Other than that, I honestly have no clue. Sorry! :-(
Best,
Ico

Thanks for the positive feedback! I actually never got to use Gentoo, so I guess I'll have to take your word for it :-). Best wishes, Ico
I don't own a laptop but I really like these icons! Nice!
