laptops from the major OEMS that really do have entirely Linux compatible insides...

I absolutely love this idea! I do agree with the others that "Powered by" would be better, but what a great sticker. I'll definitely print one and stick it on my iPAQ (which is running Familiar Linux and Opie) on top of the "Microsoft Windows Powered" logo on the back. Heck, this might even make a good desktop image for it...

Silly Windows logos off my portables. I'd like the Powered By sticker as well, so that after I get rid of Windows on the inside, I can do so on the outside as well.

I'd say ... "Powered by" instead of "Designed for" to illustrate the power of LINUX. Just my 2 cents

The next version will have a brushed metal background and a chrome table. I work on it with Gimp.

... but what is it good for?

Ah, I would imagine it's for sticking on notebooks (or other hardware) that is certified for, or pre-loaded with Linux. Seems pretty self explainatory!

Exactly this is a stick for notebooks or other hardware (or software boxes) powered by GNU/Linux. Thanks for your comments.
