Description: This style is based on my first attempt called Konsole (also found on kde-look.org). It uses the Cygwin console's default colors and layout for the message display. The main feature is the display of the service in text format rather than the icon. E.g. ContactName@Jabber or ContactName@Yahoo! followed by the time stamp.
Installation: * Unzip the file * Rename to Cygwin.xsl if necessary * Start up Kopete and choose Settings -> Configure Kopete... from the menu. * Choose Appearance and then Chat Window. * Use the 'Import' button and point to Cygwin.xsl.
Configuration: You can change a handful of major values in the style to your liking, given you are not afraid of going into the guts of the XSL file either with your favorite Editor or the built in one of Kopete. The variables are in the top section of the file and have a small comment on top of them that tells you what it does.
Compatibility: I tested it in the version bundled with KDE 3.2. Let me know if it works with earlier versions as well.
Call for help: BiDi support is very spotty and probably breaks left, right and center. I would like to clean it up but have no means of checking myself. Any hint, help, screenshot, etc. is greatly appreaciated.Last changelog:
errhhhh.... sorry don't quite get it...
Are you talking about the actual body text after the $-sign which does line up with the $-sign once the line breaks.
Maybe it's just a slip up in the logic. I'll have a look tonight.
One thing I would change though is not to have messages be right alligned, instead I would indent them to the right by one or two tabs maybe.
Just a thought, keep up the good work.

Thanks! I use Cygwin a lot, and it's nice to see something like this for Kopete. Keep up the good work!

Ok, I think I found the bug you were talking about. Should be fixed now.
