no longer works in kopete-0.12
This theme is really great. One slight bother is when the chat window width is increased the local users text doesn't stay relative to the box. So if a very high screen resolution is used, and say the chat window is maximized the text floats out the right side of the bubble. I hope theres some easy fix, as this I love this theme otherwise ;)
MAN! this theme rocks! Totally awsome. I can't wait to implement simular functionality in my messenger application, once xslt parsing works. (if you allow me to use this theme off course)
i dont have to allow anything :) its GPL ... but i am glad you liked it , and glad if you use it. please do note ... that i myself based it on someone elses work :)
Absolutely love this style (using it now). BTW, what color scheme are you using in the screenshot?
thanx its just some modified plastick clone. if you are talking about that gradient on the titlebar , that is only on cvs kdeartwork :)
Is cvs up again? I tried logging in the other day...no go. I know their making the move to subversion, but would really love to get my hands on that gradient style now.:)
just try another cvs server mirror. i use this one : :pserver:anonymous@bluemchen.kde.org:/home/kde this is up :)
At first, as I already told you, I like your mod of my ShadedBubble theme. Two questions come to mind: 1) Why didn't you include a link to my style? Would have been nice 2) Why don't you use the installer I wrote for the style? I think it would make installation a lot easier. Didn't it work for you? Anyway - have a nice day.
segfault : 1- sorry for not including a link to your style , will do so imediatly. 2- i actually didnt use it. i have written a readme on how to install the theme. i think its simple and easy to install .... there is just the me.png trick. catmandu : actually , the only archive that should be reporting missing files , is this one , not everyone. this is because of the link ( its better than me uploading my avatars ). its weird that it says that its not a valid theme. maybe you are not using the latest kde ? ( but still my first two themes should work )
hum... how come it looks good on the preview , and not when for real ?!
weird
Iḿ using the latest KDE. as in CVS and it definitely doesn't work.
I see part of the problem is that you have a link in your file instead of the actual file. This is generating the error message when I go to extract it.
I believe I've seen your themes repeatedly on this site. I'm sort of troubled. Every time I try to use them I get the message that the file is not a valid theme file. Then, and this happens every single time with your compressed files, there seems to be missing files. I've tested on suse, and redhad FC3 with an established machine and with a new install on another machine. Each time the same thing. As well, how about some installation instructions? Not everyone knows how to use the themes and how to resovle these types of problems.
it's nice :) but what kind of emoticons are there to see? try to create a small drop shadow under the bubbles, would be nice, too.. and maybe a vertical gradient in the bubble itself..
