I see that you also have the flat extras pack - if you want, I can bundle this colour scheme with the next version of Flat extras.
I have started work on a color version of my icons - just bright primary colours at the moment. I will post a preview here very soon.

Really, there isn't much to `Flatten'. The display of the month is just about all its functionality :-). I like its simplicity. However, if you think some modification would make it blend in better, I'd love to see it.
