I noticed on some of the shots you have jaggy edges. ON a good system, try and create a sh file to activate the nvidia antialiasing at start up.
try these so you can adjust the hardware but remember it needs to be a good spec pc.
3. add startup file to system->preference->sessions "nvidia-settings -l"
4. add a settings nvidia-settings command into start menu and in nvidia-settings, bump the antiliasing half way up to 100%. if you run an awsome grahpics card, then your desktop will look silk smooth.
Yep Beryl is way unstable.. Even on low system I found that Compiz Fusion is damn good :) I am loving it.. No hangs nothing even its in beta stage :D Commendable job by CF team :D

I know bro :) and even I know the process to on it :) but the problem is i am onboard GPU :( That's hindering the performance :(
i found compiz to be extremely stable, but beryl to be fairly unstable. hows the stability of the fusion so far? and the performance? BTW: nice shots.
