I know people who complain that Noatun uses plugins for playlists instead of a built-in one. Those are always peopl who haven't tried Hayes yet :)
At least Europeans probably won't need a comment on that: http://www.hakubi.us/ridge/
what does that have to do with the software?
Well, it's not THAT easy IMO: Of course KDE and KDE apps are developed by a lot of people whose political views can not always possibly be like me BUT: If the KKK would release a new painting application - would you use it. I certainly wouldn't. What I want to say here is: Inform yourself about this guy and then make your own decision. If you say afterwards - I don't mind - that's really OK for me. I don't want to begin an endless political exchange here but I really think it's important people know whose software they are using in this case because I find this all rather extreme. Perhaps it isn't that extreme from an American point of view - I don't know - but from a European point of view this is certainly *very* radical. Not without any reason he left the KDE project and took all his apps with him...
A KLed to show a DHS advisory! How sad! How extreme! How KKK-like! I bet that's more radical than your Germany (rgfree@gmx.net, right?) breaking the Treaty of Maastricht?
I've been using Hayes for more than a year now, it's the best Noatun playlist plugin barnone... now only if the rest of noatun could be fixed :|
If you would file bugreports on http://bugs.kde.org we would eventually have a clue about the problems you experience :) Without a bugreport your voice won't be heard though (not to mention that just saying "it does not work" won't improve applications).
