addiKtUI
Source (link to git-repo or to original if based on someone elses unmodified work):
Currently only two visualizations are provided:
1. Blur Scope
2. Spectrum Analyser
Make sure you also visit configuration page of addiKt.
Changelog(1.04):
(=) A very small fix in Statusbar.
Changelog(1.03):
(+) Blur Scope can now run on two settings. One will render the scope relative to its size (giving best quality), and other renders scope according to user-defined settings(which saves a lot of CPU cycles while maintaining quality at lower sizes).
(+) Spectrum Analyser can now run in two settings. One allows static bar size and other allows dynamic bar size relative to size of analyser.
(+) Shows size of visualization/video in statusbar.
(+) Statusbar can now shake left/right if text is too small to scroll.
(=) Removal of useless code in visualizations means faster startup (by a few ms).
(=) Statusbar (scrolling) now responds to style & colour change.
(=) Version is now 1.03 ( previously it was quoted as 0.1 instead of 1.02)
(=) Many other small fixes.
What's happening:
I am currently working on a few more visualizations and at the same time trying to improve my skills in handling graphics. Any help in this regard will be appreciated.
I have two more projects under development, one of which is playlist plugin for Noatun (Which I will integrate with addiKt once Noatun with its new API is released).

A SlackWare 10.2 TGZ Package with SlackBuild script is ready to download!! http://www.slacky.it http://www.slacky.it/index.php?option=com_remository&Itemid=1&func=fileinfo&filecatid=759&parent=category
Compiled and installed without a hitch. I am using Slackware 10.1 and it all works well here. Nice plugins.
Great news 4 me, as this was the first offering by me and I was very much concerned about that point. I'll also come up with rpm package for suse 9.2 within one week
It would be nice though, to have this as a stand alone where it can connect with Jack. That way it could be used with other audio applications.
I am currently interesting working only for Noatun.
interesting approach :) Sounds like another plugin that could make use of the long planned api-changes.
