What did i wrong?
1. copied the rovclock in /usr/bin
him@ubuntu:~/Desktop/ati-overclock$ sudo cp rovclock /usr/bin/
2. make ati-overclock.kmdr launchable
him@ubuntu:~/Desktop/ati-overclock$ chmod +x ati-overclock.kmdr
3. launch ati-overclock.kmdr
him@ubuntu:~/Desktop/ati-overclock$ ./ati-overclock.kmdr
./ati-overclock.kmdr: line 1: syntax error near unexpected token `*'
./ati-overclock.kmdr: line 1: `*!DOCTYPE UI** *UI version="3.0" stdsetdef="1"**'
(because of HTML-code:)
* = <
** = >
Once again.
What the hell did i wrong?
thx him :)
you must have installed kommander. then simply click on ati-overclock.kmdr. if nothing happens, open konsole and write "kmdr-executor ati-overclock.kmdr". that's it
Thankyou!
ati overglock is running now.
But i think rovclock does not send the correct data:
http://www.directupload.net/file/d/976/GcUKkA2E_png.htm
The Output of rovclock:
Radeon overclock 0.6e by Hasw (hasw@hasw.net)
Found ATI card on 07:00, device id: 0x7100
I/O base address: 0xac00
Video BIOS shadow found @ 0xc0000
Invalid reference clock from BIOS: 0.0 MHz

In all probability the rovclock version 0.6e is NOT compatible with the chipset of the ati x1800xt series.
Maybe the developer of rovclock can release a new version ;)

Well, sort fo :P
For instance, why the hell do you have to put a button "view current clock"...it's an information that should automatically displayed in the main window of the program!
