Hi, please add https://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=57399 for Archlinux. Thanks
But isn't there a x64 deb-package ? That would be really nice :-)
Hi, Thanks a lot for bringing my suggestions into effect :) I've got next idea: ability to change a language of the app. In May I'll have some free time, so I could translate it into Polish. It would be helpful for people who have just started learning English. Do you plan on changing this?
It would be really nice to translate this application. From the very beginning, all strings inside are wrapped with tr(). So, it will be easy to translate it. I will only need to add the translation support to the main(). Feel free to write me to email.
I'm really keen on this app. It helps me and my friends to learn :) If I could request some features, it'd be great if sides of cards could be reversed (e.g. answers changed to questions and questions to answers). Next great feature - ability to modifying an appearance of cards. Thanks a lot - I'll check every next version of Fresh Memory :)
Hi, sincerelly thanks to take care about the need to display a picture and sound as requested. Sincerelly thanks. Have a nice day and with pleasure to use the next version (under my kubuntu and windows in my office). Miguipda ;-)
Hi, I forget to ask you if it could be possible to run a sound file. I explain. If in the flashcard file I give a path to a mp3 file then a speaker appears in the fresh memory program to let the user (by clicking) on the speaker to hear the associated file. It can then for my example tell the term in chinese and help me to correctly hear and pronounce it. Thanks, Miguipda ;-)
I will consider adding multimedia extensions to the flashcards. As well am planning to implement "multi-side" flashcards, so that it would be possible to use several languages on the same card. For the time being, take a look at the new version 0.3 http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php/Fresh+Memory?content=70754 Now, however I am trying to develop an adaptive scheduling of the cards for version 0.4. The scheduling system would be capable to take into account your level of knowledge and adjust the card displaying probabilities accordingly.
Hi, sincerely thanks for this program I need to use on linux at home and on windows at my job. But, yes there is, I need en enhancement of your program if you agree. Sincerely it can expand the use of your program to more studying courses. I explain : I need to study something that is an image. This image has a name in chinese and a translation in french. This means I need to be able to studying it by displaying the image and then found the goo chinese word and french translation. It could be also display the french or the chinese and then found the image and the chinese or french term. It must so be able to display a random image/chinese/french term or be selected in a settings form to decide I always display image/chinese/french and need to found the two others elements. I know it's a little a bit more work for you but I sincerely need it. And I think it can be used for other studying courses like medecine, ... by displaying image and latin and othe language term. Sincerely thanks for your help and I hope you agree to enhance your program with this idea. Have a nice day, Miguipda ;-)
Excellent. I love educational apps, since FLOSS lends itself to that so well. I'm slowly filling up little, not for profit classrooms with Linux machines. These kinds of apps will give kids, who aren't getting the best education because of budget cuts, bad teachers and the like, a better chance. Well done.
