I remember trying to learn how to do all of the compiling and this looks like it will make it much easier. It's an excellent idea and I can't wait to see how it turns out. I'll be testing it as soon as I can.
I'll try to make pure KDE application for the next version. So it will take some time to studie KDE API. Besides the scool has began, will see. The new version will include (I hope) all your comments and requests. thank you for testing.
I really like this app...but it could get better if it supported checkinstall (to make packages suited for the distro) and configure options should be selected as checkboxes...but it's a really nice thing that make compiling and instaling just like "next -> next -> finish" on window$...thanks
From the screen shots the program looks nice. However, why oh why do all steps need to be done as root?
what a fantastic tool!!! shoulnt it be associated with tar.gz files in KDE?!?!? or at least those that have a configure script in them, or a makefile ;-) I guess thats not possible now... :( anyway, PLEASE make this support checkinstall, or some other way to make deb's?!?!?
I plan to make tar.gz support. I am a begginer in QT and KDE (3 moths), so support for association and checkinstall will have to wait until I learn some more classes from KDE API.
Not bad at all! I see that it's very similar to KConfigure isn't it? Do you plan to support checkinstall, or maybe an option to build an rpm package? Thanks. Great job!
Well I rewrote some Kconfigure code. I try to make an application that is easy to use and can do everything. Something like for users and experts.
Good job, I like the idea a lot, even though I haven't used the program yet. :-)
... some Screenshots? ;-)
