How'd you change the bar at the bottom of Kickoff (not the button, but the bar above it; where it lists off username and hostname)? It's not a graphic file I managed to find, and I'm working on a Fedora theme for Kickoff.

axually not always. u can buy computers without windows. but the most pc's where windows is installed is as cheap as the ones without windows, so it doenst matter. and u always can format the hardrive before u use your new computer. i have a dual boot, so i enjoy both systems. but i like linux for the fact that it is free software, so u can modify software to your own needs.

"you aren't forced to use it." Actually you ARE forced to buy it when you buy any computer. There aren't many ways around the windows tax.

Why is everybody so against windows or windows vista? its just another operation system u can use. u aren't forced to it, cause otherwise u wouldn't be on linux ;) Some people just like the design of windows xp or vista.why should that be a bad thing. Only becuase u are using linux now, it isnt a duty to boycot windows or something. Just see it positive. Now u can have the looks and graphic enviroment of vista, but on a much more stable and safer distro.
