Description: The initial port of kde3 version of kfuseiso. NOTE:The iso kfile plugin hasn't been ported to a strigi analyzer. kde3 version: http://www.kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=46526
kfuseiso contains three components An dialog used to select iso image file and mount it. A libkonq-based RMB popupmenu used to mount/unmount iso image files in konqueror. A kio slave isomedia://, showing all the iso iamges currently mounted with kfuseiso.
Small set of modules to help access ISO image files. Depends on fuseiso program and therefore on fuse library so it is only linux specific now.
Fuseiso along with .iso images also support windows-born .nrg, .mdf, .bin and .img (CloneCD) images. Please look at http://fuse.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/FuseIso for more details on it.
NOTE: some features of kde3 version are still missing in this port, such as you cannot umount an image with context menu in isomedia:// view(this may be related to some bug in servicemenu/mimeinfo detection). Also, the RMB popupmenu works only in konqueror. It does NOT work in dolphin due to the fact that dolphin doesn't load libkonq-based konqueror plugins, which also affacts kdiff3-plugin.
To mount an image: way1: use the kfuseiso dialog living in the utility submenu in K menu. way2: right click the image file in konqueror, select the preferred action: mount or mount+browse
To unmount an image: Unlukily, there's only one way availble at the moment --- right click the image file in konqueror, select umount
Hope it will not crash your KDE desktop very often :-)Last changelog:
2009-08-16 port kfuseisomount to KDE4 port kio_isomedia to KDE4 port iso_image_plugin to KDE4
