This is just a Web shortcut to search the Medline/Pubmed medical database. I suppose you will only need it if you are a doctor or something like that. To install it:1) unpack the file:$ tar -jxvf kise-pubmed.tar.bz22) go to kise-pubmed$ cd kise-pubmed3) run the install.sh script (you need root access to complete this step).# ./install.shTo use it, just type "pm:terms to search" and press "enter".You will get all the results containing theese terms (if there is any).

Hi, looks like you can add that searchenginge by hand as well:
- open Konqueror
- open Search-dropdown on the right, hit "Select search-engine"
- hit "New"
- enter:
Name: PubMed
Shortcut: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/entrez/query.fcgi?db=PubMed&term=\{@}
Shortcut: pm,pubmed
Charset: utf8
Now activate PM as a search-engine and enter your searchterms into the field :D (or "pm:" into Konquerors' address field)Yes, you can add it manually with no problems. In fact, I did it like this and then I copied the file pubmed.desktop and added the translations into Catalan, French, English and Portuguese.
I have to search all days on PUbmed. Now I can do it easier. Thanks.
nice work, my gf can use this :D
