Description: Konq Rellinks is an add-on for Konqueror.
It allows you to access the relations defined in the header of the document. These relations can be links to other versions of the document, RSS backend, search page, copyright informations,.... For more informations about this, see http://www.subotnik.net/html/link.html.en
The look of the Rellinks add-on is similar to the "Site Navigation Toolbar" of the Mozilla browser (not Mozilla Firebird).
I need help to continue the developpement of this addon because I am not a very good C++ programmer (this is my first C++ program) and I have some problems with KHTMLParts Last changelog:
KDE CVS :
Rellinks is now officialy in KDE CVS
WE ARE LOOKING FOR A MAINTAINER OR RELLINKS WILL BE REMOVED FROM KDE 3.x. IF YOU ARE INTERRESTED, PLEASE TELL US
Information and contact in http://shift.freezope.org/konq_rellinks/
0.4.1 : The revival
* Support for "target" attribute, * Distinction between "rel" and "rev" relations * ...
0.4 : The merged
IMPORTANT : If you install the previous version by hands, you need to uninstall it with "make uninstall" of the version 0.3. Some file names had changed so you will have 2 toolbars if you don't do that * Merged with Site-links http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php?content=10385 : Kevin now work on Rellinks, * Memory leak fix, * Bugfix: enabling "more" menu instead of "document" when links are "help", "made" or "copyright" * Made "search" a top level action * Polling for links while the page is loading. This presents clickable actions as soon as possible, nice on slow connections or in large documents. * Much more informations on the websites with testcases / examples / ... * Available in the KDE CVS under kdenonbeta/rellinks
0.3 : First really usable version
< 0.3 : See http://shift.free.fr/?p_konqsitenavbar
It's a shame that this plugin no longer works properly,
I was planning at using it to compleatly remove the back/forward buttons from the browser, maybe even the address bar could go if enough people supported doc-links.
Anyhow, I've got enough time to look at getting the plugin working again and check over the implementation but I can't garentee any time in the furture for support and updates.
Oh yes !
It also exists for Konqueror !
Very cool.
Please add it to KDE/Konqueror.
IMHO, Konqueror MUST have a GUI in it's Configuration dialog to active/unactive plugins (like Mozilla or, soon, IE).
In this way, we could inclue lot of plugins and activate only the minimal vital.
Would add powerful : I haven't time to browse the WEB to find all plugins... If I want a feature, I look at the app.
If the app do not provide the feature, it's like they do not exists.
My two cents...
I totally agree !
Konqueror need to be re-think (?). It is a good file-manager and a good browser but by being both of them now its configuration dialog is very badly organised :(
The web configuration conflicts with file management one. So both of them are inergonomic.
Please add it to KDE/Konqueror.
Happend yesterday.
David Faure moved our sources from kdenonbeta to kdeaddons, so unless anything unexpected happpens, we are part of kdeaddons for KDE3.3

Is this based on my old rellinks plugin -- which i never got to get up to speed? In any case, it looks nice :-)
You are welcome to participate on it again. I kept the name as we planned in our mail-conversation :) Thank a lot for the first version.
ahh, I just uploaded something like that as well. Will check out your tool right away. Cheers, Kevin
this is a feature i really missed from konq. I hope this plugin will be added in the official kde distribution. Great work!
