LHMail is an email library written in Qt able to send messages over SMTP protocol and receive via POP3, suitable for implementing email clients. See LHMail homepage for more info.
Last changelog:

New features include the ability to sign messages with S/MIME
signature, verification of S/MIME signatures, and PEM format key and
certificate support.
