Description: KBiff is a dockable "biff" or new mail notification utility. It is highly configurable but very easy to use and setup. KBiff supports all major mailbox formats: mbox (Berkely style), maildir, mh, POP3, IMAP4, POP3+SSL, IMAP4+SSL (with CRAM-MD5 and APOP auth), as well as NNTP.Last changelog:
This is the first version listed on KDE Apps. KBiff itself has been around since 1998 so a full changelog would be silly at this time.
Great app, but it retrieves the count of all messages in my pop3 mail inbox. I would like to receive only the number of the new mails :-) What should I do to work this out? Thanks in advance!
The Dutch translation is really really bad in KBiff, so I improved it.
I sent the translation to the author, but no reaction so far. But you can download the *.po and the *.mo file from my webspace: http://home.hccnet.nl/bram_s/stuff/kbiff_nl.tar.bz2
Put the kbiff.mo in $KDEDIR/share/locale/nl/LC_MESSAGES and enjoy KBiff without annoying spelling errors.

Great little app. Have used it for many years now. Found nothing better for IMAP mail.
