This is a simple broadcast UDP chat program. It is written in C++ and uses QT4-libs. It is developed with KDevelop.


First of all you have to choose the interface and virtual-interface-number.
You launch it, type in your name and press 'Publicate Name' button.
Your name will be in your list of names and in list of names of other chatters. But they (other chatters) will answer to you and you will get their names.

One can get someone's IP address.
