10 10 the best
to compile it under "lubuntu 18.04.1", i've had to add these lines to the file "qtlocalpeer.cpp" : #include #include uid_t getuid(void); uid_t geteuid(void);
Thank you.
Hi! i like your app so much! it's in your plan to add a password protection feature for notes?
Yes, I have this feature in TODO, but I don't have enough time to implement it. If you know C++, you can implement it yourself and commit it on https://github.com/proton/znotes Thanks.
First build ;) http://img228.imageshack.us/img228/7237/58418663.png
Nice job! Thanks I have published Debian testing amd64 package, anyone can take it from http://slavino.sk/ulozisko-apt regards
it crashes when deleting the last tab
Fixed in live version (in git) Will be fixed in version 0.4.4
When a text is selected from a web page and pasted into an HTML node of zNotes with middle clicking (or if it's copy-pasted via right click menu) its HTML format is also conveyed. It would be nice if the HTML format wouldn't be conveyed even to HTML nodes, so that the user could format the pasted text in whatever way he wants.
Added to TODO.
done in 0.4.2 as option
Thanks. Now I start it with GNOME :)
I understand that QT is now portable to WebOS. Any truth to that? If so, when could we see zNotes on the Palm Pre? The Palm Pre community is badly in need of an outlining app as a substitute for Natara Bonsai that runs on Pam OS.
I'm going to realize zNotes for Symbian, Maemo, Android, WinCE and Palm WebOS =)
Hi ! Good job dude, easy to use and really ergonomic ! But I've found an 'issue'. Actually, when I delete the last note (number 0), the program crashes. So you should add something that doesn't allow this =)
Intresting... Will be fixed in 0.4.2 Thank you!
When an HTML tab is renamed and zNotes is restarted, the tab loses its rich text and the HTML code shows up in the note :(
zNotes detecting note type using filename extension. Do you change it on note renaming?
A hidden property indeed! However, thanks for your reply.
zNotes is an excellent notes manager for both KDE and Gnome. Please add text formatting functionality. It makes it easier to find important notes in a tab.
>Please add text formatting functionality. What do you understand by "text formatting functionality"? Do you use html note format?
> What do you mean by "text formatting" functionality"? The possibility of having bold, italic, underline and strikethrough options, like in Knotes. This is useful for finding "special" notes quickly.
Already done: http://img28.imageshack.us/img28/4791/znotes.png
Thanks a lot! I hadn't noticed that. zNotes is perfect.
