Description: Just a couple of screenshots of me running Karamba, Slicker, Konqueror, Phoenix (with Nautilus theme), Slick Icons, Galaxy window theme, and a modified kde silver color scheme.
The download is a larger version of the first screenshot.Last changelog:
Bludy,
I'm using the konsole card under a pre-alpha version of slicker. Once you open your konsole card, you can stretch it to your peferred dimensions, and it will reopen to that size every time you slide it open. Also, for the transparency and changed fonts I right clicked within the konsole to edit my setting.
Bludy,
To explain a Konsole Kard I should probably explain what Slicker is first.
Slicker is a program that can be used to replace the KDE Kicker (start bar), or in the case of how I utilize it -- in conjunction with the Kicker. Slicker utilizes three major tools -- Kards, sliders, and a taskbar. You can get a good definition of these three things at http://slicker.sourceforge.net/info.php
To give you the most pertinent answer to your question we will just discuss Kards. Kards are retractable/extendable applications that you can place at the edge of your screen. These Kards can run various embedded applications such as Konsole, K Menu, your time and date, a quick launcher, ect.
So, for the short answer to your question; a Konsole Kard is an embedded applet of Konsole running within an extendable Kard that is made possible by a program called Slicker.
I hope this helps :)
screeenshots so far! I really love those slick icons! I wish Amibug would update the set, I don't know anyone else who can draw in that unique and beautiful style.
I also like CardDesk and Super Karamba very much!
