It contains a windec, colorscheme, qtcurve-config and kicker background.
There are now 3 versions available:
Karbonit
Karbonit-Dark
Karbonit-EvenDarker
You need:
-deKorator
-QTcurve
Have fun

How to install:
1 - Get deKorator and install it. KDE-Look has plenty packages for it, so just look if there is one for your distribution. If theres no package you have to build dekorator from source.
2 - Get and install the QTcurve style. Also take a look for packaged versions here on KDE-Look.
3 - Extract the Karbonit tarball somewhere. Be sure to keep the deKorator folder after installing, so just copy it somewhere else.
4 - In Kcontrols window decoration settings, switch to deKorator and adjust the paths for the dekorator tiles under the "paths" session. The "themes"-tab does not work correctly, so you have to set the paths manually to the subdirs of the deKorator theme you want. This is pretty self-explaining.
5 - Switch to QTcurve in Kcontrols "style" section, then open QTcurves settings and load the Karbonit profile and apply it.
6 - And at last, import the KDE colorscheme and apply it and you're done.
You can also configure deKorator to show some little nifty effects when hovering the buttons. Just take a look here: http://img156.imageshack.us/img156/1370/dekoratorjy0.jpg
The Wallpaper used in the screenshots is called Fresh Flower and it is available here:

Changelog:
0.1 - initial release
0.2 - added EvenDarker schemes and deco
0.3 - some minor improvements on the windec buttons and colorschemes (check out EvenDarker, it rocks

Hi, very, very nice and artistic theme ! I like it very much. Could you please tell us, what font for the kicker clock you have used ? And where does one find this nice orange flower wallpaper ? Thank You very much in advance, hans by the way: Qtcurve seems to have some problems under my KDE3.5.5 installation
Thanks :) The font used for the clock is called HandelGotDBol. Its part of the handelgot fontset, but sadly its a commercial font and i dont know where to get it... There was once a download at deviantart providing this font with a theme for windows, but i do not remember the name... The wallpaper is part of the gnome desktop, and you can download it here: http://art.gnome.org/backgrounds/nature/1235 I dont know what problems you have with QTcurve. If you use a precompiled package for your distro, i would recommend building the latest QTcurve from source and see if thats better...
Hi jazztyle, Thank You very much for this info: The font used for the clock is called HandelGotDBol. Its part of the handelgot fontset, but sadly its a commercial font and i dont know where to get it... I found a similar version under this link: http://www.free-fonts-ttf.org/true-type-fonts/handelgotdbol-3322-download.htm The wallpaper is part of the gnome desktop, and you can download it here: http://art.gnome.org/backgrounds/nature/1235 Thank You ! I dont know what problems you have with QTcurve. If you use a precompiled package for your distro, i would recommend building the latest QTcurve from source and see if thats better... Sorry, I installed qtcurve via apt - and it just installed the gnome version only (I trusted the apt automatism too much ;).
Is your right panel in konqueror an metabar theme? Looks fine.
Its the baghira sidebar... You can install it as standalone without the whole baghira theme by doing ./configure in the baghira folder, then cd sidebar and then make, make install... I love this sidebar so much that i even built a package for it :)
It is very nice! Love it....
this looks cool, really. nice!
Only thing is that it's Carbonite not Carbonit. :)
true, but karbonite would be nothing but a misspelled version of carbonite, with the kutesy k. Karbonit on the other hand is german for carbonite ;) Spelling it that way gives an excuse for the k hehe
