sounds work for any ubuntu im using gnome 2xx. 11.04 ubuntu
go to sounds --> sound preferences --> sound theme make it Ubuntu Studio
. copy and replace the folder stereo in
/usr/share/sounds/ubuntustudio/stereo

p.s.I put in extra sounds if you want to change it just change the name you want to swap.
