Description: Just a simple sound theme. To install, just extract to "/usr/share/sounds" either from the terminal with sudo or using a file manager as root (though the former is safer).
Fresh And Clean is now being used as the default sound theme in EliteOS 1.1! EliteOS is based on Puppy Linux 511, and released under the GPL. Description from the official thread: "EliteOS emphasizes elegance, simplicity, and ease-of-use. It runs well on older computers, and comes with tools for the physically-challenged and visually-impaired. "
Fresh & Clean was removed from the mirror links due to "copyright". This is a load of malarkey, because Fresh & Clean is and always has been GPL, since its creation.

hey man i try run sounds system in fedora xfce, and convert the file in wav, for example for loggin session :
* oggdec myfile.ogg
* and run the comand aplay myfile.wav
this comand run in start up programs
my inglish is bad xD

Unfortunately, XFCE doesn't support sound themes (to my knowledge). You can play the system startup and shutdown sounds by adding commands to your .xinitrc before and after running XFCE.
They sound good, but how do I make them my default sounds in KDE 4.7? I can't see any option in System/Settings/Application and System Notifications apart from manually changing the sound for each and every event.
I have to say, this is an awesome sound scheme. I don't often register for a site just to comment on one thing, but this was worth it, well done, I love the feel of these sounds. Thanks very much

I'm just a wee bit late on this, but I think that may be the only way to do it in KDE.
