Description: Kind of difficult to categorize this tweak. It is for digikam (KDE) but it is for solving an issue with digikam under GTK...
Issue: After installing digikam on my Ubuntu MATE I had problems making digikam follow the rest of the look and feel of my MATE desktop. I use the Arc Dark theme but in digikam I only had the default color scheme to choose from.
Fix: I made a new *.colors-file which followed the Arc Dark colors. Simply extract the archive and put "ArcDArkGTK.colors" in "~/.kde/share/apps/color-schemes/" and start/restart digikam and pick ArcDarkGTK from Settings-> Themes menu.
in my setting there is no such folder as .kde under home. I trief to add the folders but the color scheme doesn't appear in digikam.
Any ideas?
I'm on elementary OS Loki
I found it out by searching for the dafault color-schemes. It has to be copied to /usr/share/digikam/colorschemes/
on my system. Looks beutiful, thank you!
this works perfectly well with KDE 5.5 too
is to say: Kubuntu 16.04 with KDE and a fresh install of digikam hadn't allowed me to pick a color scheme in digikam
your workaround helped me out
thanks!
