Hi Bram. Before all, thanks a lot for the Korganizer Formula 1 calendar. Can you tell me how can I write a new calendar, for example, for my country holidays?
Hi Ariel, It's not that hard. Make sure the resource pane is visible in KOrganizer (or Kontact's calendar component). If this is not visible, you should enable it in one of the submenus of the Settings menu. Once the resource pane is visible, click Add. Select the one which stores a calendar in a local file. Make sure you don't check the Read Only flag. Give the calendar a place somewhere on your harddisk. To make entering holidays more comfortable, disable all other resources first by unchecking them in the resource pane. Now you can add the items to your new calendar. These are saved automatically to the assigned file. You eventually want to make the calendar read only again so you won't be bothered with questions when you want to add an event to your normal calendar.
Thanks a lot. I prepared a new calendar with 2006 Colombian holidays and it is already posted on kde-files.org Regards, Ariel Barbosa
