KDE-gaps
Source (link to git-repo or to original if based on someone elses unmodified work):
Description:
KDE-gaps is a modification of Arc-Dark by varlesh (https://github.com/PapirusDevelopmentTeam/arc-kde) that removes the title, window buttons, and makes the window decorations completely transparent. KDE-gaps is setup to have a 10px gap between windows to simulate the look of a tiling Window Manager. I suggest setting up the "Quick Tile" hotkeys in KDE's settings for easy window moving (Settings -> Shortcuts -> Global Shortcuts -> KWin).
KDE-gaps-glow is the same concept as KDE-gaps, but with glowing window borders. It is a modification of the AeroGlow-Oxygen theme (https://store.kde.org/content/show.php?content=161639). Last changelog:

9 If you tile, this is a great decorator to use.
I just added KDE plasma as an alternative desktop for my i3 config. Rather than replace the window manager, I chose to use KWin with many, many custom shortcuts.. This window decorator really tied it all together for me. With transparency blur, the gaps look pretty cool.
Could you add an effect to make the active window have some kind of glow effect like in the oxygen decoration?
Done! The corners are a little rounded looking with the glow effect... I'll try and see what I can do about that and see if I can reduce the glow on inactive windows. https://dl.opendesktop.org/api/files/download/id/1491619851/kde-gaps-glow.tar.gz
Sorry, use this link instead. https://github.com/simoniz0r/kde-gaps/blob/master/kde-gaps-glow.tar.gz
I extracted it into the .local/share/aurorae/themes directory, but choosing the decoration still does not give any glow. Is there some option I'm supposed to enable?
You'll have to install it using the built in "Get New Decorations" app in the settings. I'm not sure why, but extracting it manually doesn't seem to work. When you click install, just select the KDE-gaps-glow version.
I get no option to choose the decoration if I do that. There is a KDE-gaps-glow folder in .local/share/aurorae/themes, but the option doesnt appear in the settings module.
It should show up as a different theme entirely in the Window Decorations settings; a black one with blueish-green glowing edges.
Oh sorry. I checked again, and extracting it into the required location does work. Thanks!
Nice idea!
Thanks :D
