Introduction

The icon collection consists of a modern free desktop icon theme pack whose design is based around the use of bold colours and simple geometric shapes to compose icons with pixel perfect rendering.

Why use this icon pack?

The reason behind this icon theme pack is to enable new users to easily install the preconfigured arc icon theme to look and feel consistent to how I intended X-Arc theme collection to look, having been asked a few times “how do I get my desktop looking like the screen shots?” I decided to remix and preconfigure this icon pack to enable new users to just extract it directly to their icons folder without having to configure the arc icon theme themselves and also it allowed me to pack all the recommended icon themes in one source, this theme pack is specifically created for X Arc collection to create the overall intended look and feel, all credits go to the creators of the icon themes.

What's included in the pack?

The icon pack consists of four elements each element has been packaged to create a preconfigured theme pack, the contents of which can be seen listed below.

Arc-X-P ---- light icon theme

Arc-X-D ---- dark icon theme

Paper ---- dependency

Paper-Mono-Dark ---- dependency

Paper icons are not working under Ubuntu 20.04 and break the top bar. See: https://askubuntu.com/questions/1231375/update-to-20-04-missing-icons-and-icon-alignments

Hi, I have being using this Icon Theme for a long time, and honestly I just don't want to swap to a new one. I know this project doesn't have any updates for a long time, but if you could help would be awesome. After upgrading for Ubuntu 20.04, with Gnome version 3.36, the battery Icon disappeared for no reason. Is it possible to fix this ? I think that the battery Icon is the only one that is messed up, I don't see any more differences in the theme after upgrade. (I tried to post this on the GitLab page but the project is archived...) Amazing Theme Btw!

An Icon Theme should have a valid .theme file among its files and aim to be complete for desktop use under Gnome or KDE Plasma.

If it contains only a single icon or a small set of icons, please use the Icon Sub-Sets or Single Icon/Logo categories instead.
